Helen Woodward Animal Center is a non-profit organization located in Rancho Santa Fe, California that has been committed to the philosophy of people helping animals and animals helping people for over 45 years. The center offers a range of services that benefit the community through educational and therapeutic programs for people, as well as humane care and adoption for animals.
As a no-kill facility, Helen Woodward Animal Center does not receive any government funding and relies solely on tax-deductible contributions from private donors to continue their life-saving mission. In addition to offering adoptions and boarding services, the center provides a unique therapeutic horseback riding program on their 12-acre property, meal delivery for animals who live with homebound individuals, a variety of education programs, and much more.
Since its establishment in 1972, the center has been dedicated to providing educational and therapeutic programs for people, as well as humane care and adoption services for animals. Their passionate belief that animals help people and people help animals through trust, unconditional love, and respect creates a legacy of caring. By sharing this philosophy with others, the center inspires and teaches the importance of the animal-human bond, both locally and globally.
