Greater San Diego has plenty of well-regarded large publications, notably the San Diego Union-Tribune, but Rancho Santa Fe also has its own boutique news outlets, which cater to local news and events for community members. These outlets offer residents an intimate and timely way to stay up-to-date on local community events, but are also an open channel for communication and connection with other residents. The RSF Post, for example, is home to a popular discussion forum where residents can ask questions, receive advice, debate various aspects of community life, and more.

Having access to close-knit, small coverage news outlets like this, which still report with professionalism and impartiality, is one of the favorite things about living in a community like the Covenant at Rancho Santa Fe, for many residents. As a new resident of the Covenant at Rancho Santa Fe, be sure to take advantage of the local news outlets to stay up to date on what’s going on in the community, and don’t hesitate to ask questions on the forums if you’re looking for a bit of advice from longtime residents and community members.

Rancho Santa Fe Post

The RSF Post began in 2014 as a way to inform community members about community elections and the voting process, but soon expanded to become a general news site. Today, the Post also houses a popular Discussion Forum, allowing residents to communicate with each other about local happenings “in a moderated, yet anonymous format.” The Post, billed as “your community news site” also accepts submissions from the community, although it reserves the right to edit all submissions, and “no outright derogatory or defamatory personal attacks” are allowed.
