Roger Rowe Elementary School
The R. Roger Rowe is the public elementary school for the Rancho Santa Fe region. Located at 5927 La Granada, Roger Rowe teaches 700 students K-5th Grade and is highly ranked both locally and nationally. Roger Rowe was entirely rebuilt in 2010, incorporating a spectacular new campus design.
Torrey Pines High School
Home to just under 2,500 children, Torrey Pines is the public high school for youth from the Covenant of Rancho Santa Fe, and formerly ranked as Top 100 School in the United States by Newsweek. It’s also both a three-time National Blue Ribbon School and a California Distinguished School. Because Torrey Pines is a member of the San Dieguito Union High School District, students may also attend their nearby Canyon Crest Academy in Carmel Valley or San Dieguito Academy in Encinitas.
Canyon Crest Academy
Canyon Crest Academy is a public high school in San Diego, California. Founded in 2004, the school is a member of the San Dieguito Union High School District and is located in Pacific Highlands Ranch, a residential suburb of San Diego.
The Rhoades School
Located in Encinitas, Rhoades is one of the most prestigious private schools in San Diego County, serving children in the San Diego area since 1980. Rhoades offers courses for ages 2 through Pre-K, as well as K-5th Grade (elementary) and 6th Grade-8th Grade (middle school).
The Nativity School
This private Catholic school, located in the Church of the Nativity, offers faith-based classes for children in preschool through 8th Grade.
Horizon Prep
This non-denominational Christian school teaches a “Christ-centered, classical education” for students in preschool through 12th Grade.
Diegueno Country School
This private school option for K-6th Graders has been one of the top choices for Rancho Santa Fe residents since its founding in 1973. The school places a priority on balancing superior academic achievement with strong social skills.
Santa Fe Christian
This well-regarded Solana Beach Christian school teaches preschool through 12th Grade and offers several scholarships. SFCS can boast that 100% of applying graduates are accepted to a four-year college or university.
Fusion Academy
Fusion Academy, which runs over 60 campuses nationwide, is a one-of-a-kind private school, with a 1:1 teacher-student ratio. One student and one teacher, per classroom, per period (both remote and in-person options are available).
Cal Coast Academy
Cal Coast Academy is a private college prep school that serves 6th through 12th Grade. Cal Coast is located in Carmel Valley, just south of Rancho Santa Fe. “Instruction is tailored to students' learning styles and flexibility drives all aspects of [Cal Coast] academia.”
Cathedral Catholic High School
Cathedral Catholic has taught San Diegan children for 60 years, on three separate campuses. Today, it’s a co-ed school located in Carmel Valley, espousing education as an “integrative process involving the ‘whole’ person, spiritual, intellectual, social and physical.”
San Diego Jewish Academy
This independent Jewish day school houses three separate schools: an Early Childhood Center (preschool), the Golda Meir Lower School (K-5th Grade), and Maimonides Upper School (6th–12th Grade). The school aims for positive, innovative learning, while “nurturing Jewish values and meaningful Jewish life in generations.”
