The Del Mar Country Club also houses great dining options, at the 19th Hole and Safari Club restaurants. In addition, most of the fresh, natural fruits and veggies are grown in the Club’s very own organic garden!

The regal 55,000-square-foot clubhouse hosts a bustling social calendar throughout the year, with myriad wine tastings and parties, and members can also put the clubhouse to use for their own events. The Club sponsors a variety of charities through its owner, philanthropist Madeleine Anne Pickens (the daughter of course architect Bill Baker). Past organizations include USO, Freedom is Not Free/Wounded Warrior Foundation, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Foundation Support, SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation, The Blue Angels, and The Flying Leathernecks. Pickens also founded “Saving America's Mustangs” building the eco-reserve “Mustang Monument” in the process. Among other charitable initiatives, the Club also works to provide enriching retirements for military working dogs.
