Activities for Everyone

The preserve includes:

• Hiking and Horseback Riding Trails

  Take your time exploring the well-maintained trails, perfect for both walking and horseback riding. The paths wind through different terrains, making each journey a bit different from the last.

• Fishing Pond

  Unwind and spend a quiet afternoon fishing at the pond.

• Tent Camping

  Make memories with your family at the designated camping area. It's amazing how close to home you can feel so connected to nature.

Coast-to-Crest Trail

The preserve connects to something bigger—it's part of the 70-mile Coast-to-Crest Trail that runs from Del Mar to Julian. Think of it as your gateway to exploring more of San Diego County's beautiful landscapes.

Access and Permits

Association members and their guests can enjoy the preserve from 7:00 am until dusk.

  Available at no cost to Association residents through the Rancho Santa Fe Association Parks and Recreation Department at (858) 756-4652.

• Campfire Permits

  Just remember to get a campfire permit from the Fire Department if you're planning to have one.
